ESIS Austria, represented externally by the Chair in accordance with the representation rules stated above.
Association purpose
The non-profit association promotes scientific activities in Austria in the fields of fatigue, fracture mechanics and the reliability of mechanical structures made from various materials. It coordinates these activities with the European ESIS association and other European ESIS organisations. Its activities primarily comprise the exchange of information among Austrian scientists and institutions, the particular promotion of early-career researchers and the regular organisation of conferences for scientific exchange.
